Alright. So. Pics of my hair from different angles; both when let down and when spiked up. (I cover my mouth when showing my side profile. Just ignore that.)

For what to tell your hairdresser:

This is hard, because what I originally got was significantly shorter than what I have now, and I just let it grow out. Originally it was buzzed quite short on the sides and kind of long on top. See this post. 

Currently, it’s almost like a fauxhawk; as you can see, it can be spiked (however only with a significant amount of hair gel/spray, the hair on the top of my head is pretty long).

There is a strip (probably about four inches wide), going down the middle of my head, which is longer than the sides. The sides are about one inch long; the middle is very long on the top of my head (approximately 5 inches in length) but then gets shorter as the top of my head becomes the back of my head. 

DID THAT MAKE SENSE? DID THAT HELP ANYONE? OR WAS THIS POST A TOTAL FAILURE AND OF NO USE WHATSOEVER?

I did it. I kissed him. I didn’t chicken out even though every nerve in my body felt like it was on fire and my hands were visibly shaking and my entire body just wanted to run away and not confront the situation even though I’ve wanted to do this ever since I met him but

I did it. 

And then danced around my kitchen after he left to use up the adrenaline that had accumulated in the ten minutes of trying-to-work-up-the-courage-to-do-this.
